FIGHTING FOR THE UNDERDOG
When I was young, my dad and I always cheered for the little guy, the underdog. This attitude has stuck with me. I went to law school with the idea that I would do plaintiff’s personal injury work, representing people injured in accidents. In law school I clerked with a small personal injury firm. While there, I discovered that getting trial experience would be very helpful for my long range goals. As a result, I applied for and got a position with the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. Shortly after starting I realized I had found my calling. Criminal defense was what I was most passionate about – working for the little guy and the underdog.
Over the next fifteen years I worked for the Santa Clara Public Defender before branching out into private practice. I found that private practice afforded me the opportunity to do work that I was unable to do as a public defender. On my own I am able to provide a more complete range of services, including spending more time with each individual client to be certain that all of their needs are being met.
For 30 years now I have dedicated my practice to educating my clients so that they can have a much better understanding of their legal predicament. That is why I wrote “How to Survive a DUI Arrest, What You NEED to Know”. This book is written to provide people with basic information about their DUI arrest. My commitment to all of our clients is that we will work together to make the best possible decisions in their case.
